VSA is a NGO working in India since 2001. VSA works with the poorest and the most vulnerable such as women, children and other disadvantaged groups in their struggle against hunger, poverty and suffering an injustice. Currently the VSA programme in Utter Pradesh focuses on livelihoods, gender equality, education, poverty and Environmental development.

We endeavour to promote development through proactive and dynamic participation of community specially women, children and disables. For this we effort to organize capacity building providing access to economic resources and create a better living conditions for them.

“Samarth” provides vocational & life skills training for marginalized women/ adolescent girls. The focus of this Project is to create opportunities and to ensure livelihood for them on basis of involving the person with their inherent abilities and provide accommodations as per their needs.

Education is considered as the key to the development of the society. It provides healthy atmosphere for the growth of any society. Keeping it in mind the educational situation in rural India especially among the SC/ST and other minority groups, VSA conducts various activities at the village, block and district levels to promote awareness and development on education.
